Explore the stories and views of people from Oxford’s past and present who have contributed to shaping Human Rights.
‘Silhouettes’ is a virtual auditory gallery of key figures contributing to Oxford’s role in Human Rights.
The gallery includes Malala Yousafzai and Christian Cole, as well as more contentious figures, the shadows of whose differences in thoughts and actions equally affect and inform our discussions today.
Visit the gallery, and click on the silhouette of each figure to listen to a reflection on the influence they continue to have. Sit back and hear their stories unfold.
‘Silhouettes’ was created by the team behind the Right to Roam walk: Amy Powell, Charlotte Clifford, Emily Warren, Omar Ibrahim, and Sophie Botsford, all studying the MA in Development and Emergency Practice, in collaboration with Conflictorium, a participatory museum that addresses the ideas, questions and structures of conflict.
