Find out more and get the link to attend online here!
60 undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the university are going to present their research and coursework and you are welcome to join!
There will be oral presentations and posters on topics ranging from how mindfulness can affect students’ academic achievement to how Virtual Reality can be used to improve public participation during decision making processes. Furthermore, some of the interesting talks include whether street art is a vivid tool for urban design or a visual pollutant, and how the Covid-19 pandemic has influenced the language development of children.
The conference will be split into four strands which all cover different topics. There will be a strand on architectural and design research, one on psychological research, one on different humanities topics and one which includes a mix of technological and architectural research.
All the presenting students have been selected by a team of academic researchers based on the high quality of their research papers.

Following the conference, you will be able to view the presented research on the conference showcase webpage and find out which students were awarded prizes by the judges.
The conference will run from 10:00 until 15:15 with a lunch break and plenty of coffee breaks throughout, and people from the OBU community are invited to join at any point during the day.
This is not only a great way to support your peers that are presenting, but it is also a good opportunity to learn new things!
